BRISTOL MAID has launched a new range of infusion and pump stands as part of the award winning eClean range of equipment.
The eClean range was created as a result of the Department of Health Design Bugs Out initiative to develop hospital furniture and equipment that would contribute to a reduction in healthcare-associated infections. The stand features a five leg design with a low centre of gravity to assist stability together with a welded scratch resistant stainless steel upright. The base is covered in a seamless polyurethane over-moulding, providing a flexible tear and water resistant finish that offers impact protection to the patient and fabric of the building, as well as easy and effective cleaning (including steam cleaning). Available as an infusion or heavy duty pump stand, it is capable of supporting up to six infusion pumps/syringe drivers and 12 kg of fluid on easy to access hooks. To reduce the risk of cross contamination and assist department identification, the bases are available in five colours.
